This single malt whisky from Akashi was brought to market by the Japanese spirits retailer Liquors Hasegawa at the end of 2021. The whisky matured for 6 years, with the first three years in bourbon casks, and the last three years in red wine cask from the Yamanashi winery.
It is only one of 366 bottles, and these longer age statements from Akashi are highly prized.
