This whisky comprises of a blend of malts from the now-closed Hanyu distillery, and the more recent Chichibu distillery, hence the name Ichiro's Malt Double Distilleries. The blend has been matured in a variety of casks to ensure the maximum flavour from the two distilleries. As Hanyu is now closed, this is one of the few ways available to still get a taste from it's famed production, albeit heavily blended.
