This pair of Miyagikyo and Yoichi Single Malts were released to commemorate the 100th wedding anniversary of Nikka's founder Masataka Taketsuru and his wife, Rita, who he married in Glasgow in January 1920.
 
They have been finished in Apple Brandy barrels and were bottled in 2020. Apples are a strong symbol for Nikka and often associated with the relationship between Rita and Masataka, as he started his business activity with the production of apple juices and jams while awaiting the maturation of his first whisky.
 
These two bottles together would make an excellent anniversary gift for a loved one!
