This 21 year old blended malt is named in honour of Masataka Taketsuru, the father of Japanese whisky. It’s rich malty flavour, roundness and a pleasant aftertaste are the fruit of Nikka’s excellent blending as well as a long maturation period.
 
Nikka discontinued the Takesturu 17, 21 and 25 year expressions in 2020 due to their depleted stock and so these have become a rare find.
